Well, I got my season ticket application in the mail yesterday. I was shocked when I saw what the cutoff was for requesting Bama tickets. It says if you have less than 630 NLC points, you ARE NOT ALLOWED to even ask for tickets. 630???? That means that less than 10% of the NLC membership can even put in for tickets (according to the NLC's own 2009 annual report of point spreads.) What a total crock of bovine feces!!!!
I haven't found a valid source yet re how many tickets Bama is giving PSU, but most schools with decent size stadiums (Bryant-Denny seats 92+K) provide at least 6k seats. This sux.
P.S. In case anyone cares, the cutoff for minimum points to apply for tOSU tickets is 300.....@ 18% of the NLC will have that pleasure. The other away games are open season.

I thought Bryant-Denny was expanding to 100K plus this year?

According to articles, you are correct. 102,500 total capacity.
Anyone see that Texas is planning a final expansion of their stadium to over 115,000?

According to the University's website the seating will be approximately 101K when completed. It's not done yet, but is supposed to be completed in July. That 102.5K reference pertained to Neyland Stadium before the present ongoing remodeling which will actually reduce the seating a bit there.

Gee, does anyone see a pattern here, South Carolina, Florida, and, now, Alabama? Things are business as usual in the vaunted SEC. He'll probably have to sit out a part of their first game this season, if the allegation is true.

I do find it interesting that the UNC/USC, Florida and now Alabama stories have all happened in the last week plus. Lets hope that our guys have been keeping their noses clean.

A suit bought by an agent is a bit of a far cry from $100,000, reportedly.

I see now that Georgia has been added to the list of "schools" being investigated. At least the NCAA doesn't have to spend alot of travel dollars, they just make a swing through the SEC members to do their unearthing.
